There seems to be a new Ken doll, but this one is human. Then again, he’s probably got enough plastic under his belt to literally make him a plastic doll.
Brazilian model Celso Santebanes has pretty much made it his sole purpose in life to resemble his old Ken Barbie dolls.
The 20-year-old has spent around $50,000 on plastic surgery to get to where his now. He’s had roughly around four procedures just on his nose, chin, and jaw, not including silicone being put in his chest. What’s even more perplexing is that he’s not even done yet!
"I think I'm 90 percent of what I want to be," he told Mamas Latinas. "I intend to do more surgeries, but do not know what. For now my investment is being in the gym, for Ken is strong, and I am skinny."
But this obsession seems like it can come from a more deeply-rooted issue.
According to celebrity dermatologist Ligi Kogos, "While he wanted to be a real boy, Celso wants to be a puppet, leaving behind the reality of what is defective and approaching an ideal of perfection."
Santebanes also took to Facebook on his search for his "Barbie" he wrote: "The human Ken bachelor is looking for his Barbie. Who wants to be my girlfriend? After all, no one is happy alone."
Well, we hope he finds his Barbie, or some help.
